Summary

THE PRESENT REPORT ANALYSES THE PARAMETERS TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHEN SETTING UP A COLD STORAGE ROOM. THIS STUDY GIVES THE POSSIBILITY TO APPRECIATE THE LATEST TECHNIQUES AS TO BUILDING, HANDLING, STORAGE, FIRE-PROTECTION AND MORE ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE ENERGY COST. THE POWER SAVINGS WERE CONSIDERED THROUGH DIFFERENT ANGLES: INSULATION, PROCESSING, STORAGE SYSTEM, HEATING OF THE ROOM BASEMENT.
