Type of article: Article
Summary
It is most likely that this particular dairy was contaminated with a clone of L. monocytogenes seven or more years and since then this clone has survived in the dairy plant. This is of importance and should influence the decisions that must be made on how food plants proceed in controlling and eliminating this pathogen.
