Summary

REFRIGERATION EFFICIENCY OF CRYOCOOLERS IS GENERALLY EXPRESSED BY THE USE OF COP OR CARNOT PERCENT VALUES. HOWEVER, THESE VALUE FORMULAS ARE DEFINED ONLY FOR SINGLE-STAGE CRYOCOOLERS. IN THE PAPER, THE REFRIGERATION EFFICIENCIES OF EACH COLD STAGE ARE SEPARATELY DETERMINED BY SHARING SINGLE WORK INPUT AMONG EACH STAGE, ON THE BASIS OF THERMODYNAMIC CONSIDERATION. FINALLY, A FORMULA OF THE TOTAL EFFICIENCY OF MULTISTAGE CRYOCOOLERS IS PROPOSED.
