Summary

43 PVT PROPERTIES AND 36 VAPOUR PRESSURES WERE MEASURED FOR 99.94 WT% R114 WITH THE CONSTANT VOLUME METHOD COUPLED WITH ISOTHERMAL EXPANSION PROCEDURES. THESE MEASUREMENTS ALONG TEN ISOCHORES BETWEEN 98 AND 984 KG/M3 COVER A TEMPERATURE RANGE OF 283 TO 443 K AND A PRESSURE RANGE OF 0.1 TO 9. 1 MEGAPASCAL. THE UNCERTAINTIES OF THE MEASUREMENT OF TEMPERATURE, PRESSURE AND DENSITY WERE ESTIMATED AT + OR -10 MILLIK, + OR -2.2 KILOPASCAL AND + OR -0.1%, RESPECTIVELY. THE RESULTS WERE COMPARED WITH AVAILABLE TEST DATA AND THE EQUATION OF STATE. THE PROPOSED CORRELATION OF VAPOUR PRESSURE DESCRIBES THE PRESENT MEASUREMENTS OF THE NORMAL BOILING POINT WITH A 0.5% DEVIATION.
