THE REPORT DEALS WITH SCREW COMPRESSORS WHICH RUN ON R134A. THE BEHAVIOUR OF GASKET AND INSULATION MATERIALS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SUITABLE LUBRICANT WAS ALSO INVESTIGATED. THE RESULTS OF THE CAPACITY MEASUREMENTS ARE SHOWN IN GRAPHS AND COMPARED TO THOSE OF R12. EXPERIENCES IN LONG-DURATION TESTING ARE DESCRIBED.
