Radiation and natural convection characteristics of wire-on-tube condensers.

Author(s) : LI A. G.

Summary

The heat transfer characteristics of wire-on-tube condensers are investigated and discussed. The radiation portion of heat transfer has been determined through the experiment, with the wire-on-tube condenser being placed in a vacuum box. It has been found that the radiation amount should not be neglected and is an important part during the total heat transfer.
