EVALUATION OF THE HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH RADON 222 DERIVATES WITH A LONG LIFETIME: LEAD 210, BISMUTH 210, POLONIUM 210, GAMMA EMITTERS, ACCUMULATING ON THE INTERNAL SURFACES OF THE UNITS FOR THE CONCENTRATION AND LIQUEFACTION OF NATURAL GAS. MEASUREMENTS MADE IN THE RESPIRATORY ZONE OF WORKERS DURING THE CLEANING OF A PUMP WHEEL SHOWED THAT THEY COULD INHALE, WITHIN 30 MIN, A DOSE EQUIVALENT TO AN EXPOSURE TO THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE CONCENTRATION OF POLONIUM 210 FOR 60 HRS.
