Summary
A new, two-stage, water-evaporation cooling system was recently developed for air-conditioning systems that helps reduce energy consumption to one third in refrigerating machines for the same air flow rate. The main elements of the two stages are described, including the air humidificator-distributor, which is the main element of the second stage. The air-treatment processes and the technical features of two systems are compared. C.C.
