Reducing energy consumption and operating costs in industrial refrigerating plants through the use of technologically advanced systems for the elimination of incondensable gases.
[In Italian. / En italien.]
Author(s) : RICHELLI A.
Summary
The article discusses the reasons for gases (which are uncondensable under the temperature and pressure conditions of a refrigerating circuit) accumulating in the condenser. It then examines the consequences of such accumulation on efficiency and the means of purging the gases. An automatic, well regulated purge system can reduce energy consumption considerably.
