Summary
Uncondensed gases are undesired in a refrigerating plant. Apart from air or nitrogen, uncondensed gases can produce reaction products. Corrective measures can be taken if the presence of the gases is detected early. A monitor for doing precisely that was developed and successfully tested. The monitor was also used as a diagnostic device in automobile air-conditioning. Results are presented.
