Summary
IT WAS SHOWN IN PART II THAT THE RECYCLE OF LIQUID AMMONIA TO THE COMPRESSOR REDUCES ENERGY CONSUMPTION. THIS APPROACH IS COMPARED WITH OTHER APPROACHES IN THE LITERATURE WHERE THE THROTTLING OF THE CONDENSER LIQUID OCCURS IN STEPS. IT COMPARES VERY FAVOURABLY BECAUSE IT ACHIEVES COMPARABLE RESULTS WITH MUCH LESS EQUIPMENT. WHEN LIQUID RECYCLE TO THE COMPRESSOR IS COMBINED WITH MULTI-STEP THROTTLING, THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY IS IMPROVED EVEN MORE.
