REDUCING HIGH COSTS. USED.
Type of article: Article
Summary
THE COSTS REFERRED TO ARE COMPRESSOR RUNNING COSTS IN COMPUTER SUITE COOLING SYSTEMS WHERE ALMOST ALL YEAR COOLING IS REQUIRED. THE SUGGESTION IS THAT A SIMPLE METHOD OF USING AMBIENT AIR FOR COOLING, RATHER THAN TO ADMIT IT DIRECT TO THE AIR SYSTEM WITH ITS ATTENDANT FILTERING PROBLEMS, IS TO INCLUDE AMBIENT AIR WATER COOLING IN THE CHILLED WATER CIRCUIT COUPLED IN PARALLEL WITH THE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM.
