Reefers adaptation to Europallets.

Summary

A report is given of the adaptations made to several reefers to allow them to carry palletized cargo. The main problem was to achieve height of 2200 mm in the holds, while maintaining the existing temperature and air-circulation rate. This aim was achieved through design changes in the hull and hold equipment elements, replacement or modification of gratings, changes in air-delivery systems, and changes in type and mode of insulation.
