Modular coordination, prerequisite for a small temperature range in refrigerated cargo.

Summary

Through coordination of dimensions in packaging, unit loads, transport equipment, containers and holds, refrigerated spaces can be used efficiently, especially in the case of temperature-sensitive cargoes. A simple calculation model indicates the sensitivity of the temperature range for somewhat coordinated configurations in transport equipment, containers and holds. Recommendations are given on favourable dimensions and configurations of packaging, unit loads and holds, recommendations, it is noted, which are not always followed in practice.
