REFRIGERANT CHARGED PHASE CHANGE, SOLAR WATER AND SPACE HEATING SYSTEMS.
Author(s) : BOTTUM E. W.
Summary
A COMPARISON OF PERFORMANCE IS MADE BETWEEN HYDRONIC SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEMS AND PHASE CHANGE REFRIGERANT CHARGED DOMESTIC WATER HEATING SYSTEMS. INFORMATION IS BASED UPON LABORATORY TESTS AND FIELD EXPERIENCE. SOME GENERAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE IS SHARED REGARDING SEVERAL HUNDRED PHASE CHANGE R11 CHARGED SYSTEMS. BOTH < PASSIVE >AND < ACTIVE > SYSTEMS ARE DISCUSSED. SOME EXPERIENCE IS ALSO RELATED IN REGARD TO COMBINATION SPACE HEATING AND WATER HEATING R11 CHARGED SYSTEMS.
