Summary

The standardization committee UNM 46 "Refrigerated Display Cabinets" decided to prepare this document as an experimental standard in order to define the initial market performance rating criteria for a refrigerated display cabinet; these criteria will be reassessed following the experimental period. This study is within the framework of the NF EN 441 standard that specifies terminology, mechanical and physical requirements, testing conditions and fitting, maintenance and user manuals, for refrigerated display cabinets used in retail outlets and/or for display of perishable foodstuffs.
