Summary

This article presents results obtained using a new front air delivery system for produce retail display cabinets developed and tested at Laval University. It was determined that the difference between the setting and average temperature was significantly decreased by over 35 % with the front air delivery system. Temperature gradients were also decreased. The system is fully described.
