THIS REFRIGERATING PLANT IS TO BE USED IN A BUILDING WHICH HOU SES ALL THE OPERATIONAL AND MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONSOF AN AIRLINE COMPANY. THE PLANT DESCRIBED IS THE LARGEST IN EUROPE AND ONE OF THE MOST SIZEABLE IN TERMS OF REFRIGERATING DUTY AND STORAGE CAPACITY. IT WAS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE SOME IMPORTANT OBJECTIVES, SUCH AS THE ECONOMIC USE OF ENERGY BY UTILIZING OFF-PEAK ELECTRICITY AT NIGHT, A PRACTICALLY UNLIMITED OPERATIONAL AND MANAGEMENT FLEXIBILITY, A SOFTWARE-ASSISTED CONTROL SYSTEM WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO OPTIMIZE ALL THE FUNCTIONS, SERVICE OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT.
