The governmental office building of Haga-Machi, Tochigi Prefecture was constructed as an energy saving building in 1986 with a system integrating heat storage, heat pump and computer. Through the performance evaluation of the ice heat storage air-conditioning system for a long period, the energy saving and economic effects could be verified.
