Summary
The paper describes the refrigerating plant of a new fresh product installation (150,000 t/year) in the South of France. Technical details are given: indirect cooling through glycol water with a large storage tank, refrigeration by R22 screw compressors (800 kilowatts of combined refrigerating capacity) with a flooded plate heat-exchanger and an evaporative condenser.
