Summary
It was found that the energy consumption of the new system is similar to that of conventional R404a systems. It has now been demonstrated in practice that energy consumption is similar on the basis of a comparison of eight identical Fakta supermarkets. The CO2/propane system and the chosen installation in Fakta Beder amount to an additional investment of between 12 and 20% or, taking the system and assembly separately, between 18 and 27%.
