Refrigeration systems in supermarkets with utilization of ammonia.
Author(s) : PRESOTTO A. Jr, SUFFERT C. G.
Summary
The paper describes an ammonia refrigeration circuit for supermarkets (high of low temperature circuits) with direct expansion or intermediate fluid. A comparison of R22 and R717 is established. Properties of several intermediate fluids are presented as well as control of the system (control loop of the secondary fluid temperature, or control loop of the expansion valve). An economic comparison of ammonia and R22, both with intermediate fluid, is presented.
