Summary
The author explains how a considerable part of existing refrigerating systems will suffer soon from a lack of refrigerant for maintenance, repair and replacement, while still not physically depreciated. The author presents the Consulting and Instructing Center of Refrigeration, founded at the Czech Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, with an activity scope covering a general optimization of investment and retrofitting activities in the field of refrigeration and heat pump technology.
