Summary
The new refrigerant system was found to be as reliable as the HCFC-22 system. The scroll compressor design was modofied to meet the new refrigerant characteristics. So, the newly developed scroll compressor can be charged with R404A and has almost the same capacity as the current model. The new split type refrigerant unit charged with R404A has almost the same capacity as the current model. It uses less refrigerant than the current model.
