RELATION BETWEEN THE GENERATOR HEAT DEMAND AND THE PARAMETERS AFFECTING A SOLAR-POWERED AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM.

Summary

THE GENERATOR OF THE AMMONIA-WATER SYSTEM IS HEATED BY SOLAR ENERGY. THE HEAT DEMAND DEPENDS ON THE VARIATIONS OF THE INSOLATION. THE HEAT DEMAND CALCULATION BY THE CLASSICAL METHODS TAKES A LONG TIME. A NEW EQUATION IS PROPOSED TO CALCULATE THE HEAT DEMAND. IT IS PRESENTED ON A DIAGRAM WHICH CAN BE USED FOR THE RAPID CALCULATION OF THE GENERATOR DEMAN EXPERIMENTAL CHECKING OF THE EQUATION AND THE DIAGRAM SHOW THAT THE VARIATION BETWEEN THE CALCULATED VALUES AND THE MEASURED ONES IS NOT IMPORTANT.
