Summary
Experiments show that there is a highly negative correlation between ageing tolerance and cold tolerance ; cold tolerant rice includes increased insaturation of polar lipids, when ageing tolerance implies reduction in germinating percentage and breakdown of unsaturated fatty acids of polar lipids.
