Summary

The different options in remodelling the technical installations of the headquarters of a large public company in Italy are described and discussed. These involve thermal insulation and glasses of the envelope, the refrigerating system (with or without cold storage), lighting control and the communications network. An energy analysis obtained by a yearly simulation through a numerical model is reported on, as well. E.F.
