GRANNY SMITH APPLES WERE TREATED WITH SOME ANTI-SCALD PRODUCTS IN VARIOUS MANNERS FOR THE TIMES OF PICKING AND STORAGE. THE ANTI-SCALD PRODUCTS HAD DIFFERENT EFFECTIVENESS IN PREVENTING SCALD AND ROT. THE TIME OF APPLICATION CAUSED DIFFERENT RESULTS IN REDUCTION OF SCALD, PARTICULARLYIF THE FRUIT WERE STORED AFTER PICKING IN AN AERATED SPACE, WHICH CAN BE THE COLD STORE.
