Type of article: Article

Summary

A TYPE OF GERMANIUM RESISTANCE THERMOMETER MANUFACTURED AT THE SEMICONDUCTOR INSTITUTE, KIEV, DISPLAYS MUCH LOWER MAGNETORESISTIVE EFFECTS THAN MOST OTHER TYPES OF CRYOGENIC SEMICONDUCTOR RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS. MEASUREMENTS ARE REPORTED ON THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE OF THESE THERMOMETERS AND THEIR ZERO-FIELD STABILITY WHEN EXPOSED TO THERMAL CYCLING BETWEEN 20 AND 288 K.
