Safety aspects of CO2 heat pumps.
Author(s) : BERGHMANS J., DUPREZ H.
Summary
This document presents tables and main titles on safety aspects of CO2 heat pumps. Codes and standardization are reviewed, as well as their application to all components in heat-pump systems. It is also reviews the codes and standardization that can be used, along with their application to all components of heat pumps using CO2. The risks inherent in use of CO2 plants are analyzed. These risks are related to the nature of CO2, the high pressures used and the resistance of materials.
