WHEN THE EQUIPMENT WAS TO BE RENEWED, A CHANGE WAS MADE. CHILLERS AND, EVENTUALLY, ICE THERMAL STORAGE, WERE INSTALLED, THE DIRECT EXPANSION COILS BEING REPLACED BY CHILLED WATER COILS. THE AUTHOR CLAIMS THAT THE STORAGE SYSTEM PRODUCED A REDUCTION IN PEAK ELECTRICITY DEMAND OF ABOUT 53 D. W. H.
