Summary
A STUDY WAS MADE TO FIND OUT IN WHAT OFFICE BUILDINGS THE ICE STORAGE SYSTEM CAN BE BEST APPLIED. INVESTIGATIONS WERE BASED ON COOLING LOAD CAPACITIES, LOAD CURVES AND OTHER FACTORS. USING A DEPARTMENT STORE BUILDING AS A SIMULATION MODEL, RESEARCH WAS CONDUCTED TO EVALUATE THE ANNUAL EXPENSES OF THE THERMAL SOURCE SYSTEM AND THE SHIFTING OF THE POWER CONSUMPTION AND AIR-CONDITIONING LOAD IN RELATION TO THE CAPACITY OF THE ICE STORAGE TANK.
