Summary
THE SECOND PART IS DEVOTED TO THE APPLICATION OF THE QUALITY CRITERIA DEFINED IN PART 1 (SEE BULL. IIR, ABSTR. 88-2037) A COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT SORBENTS ASSOCIATED WITH LIQUID AMMONIA (AS WORKING FLUID) USED IN ABSORPTION HEAT PUMPS AND IN MIXING-ENGINES. IN THE CASE OF 2 SPECIFIC EXAMPLES, THAT OF HEATING A STANDARD BUILDING AND THAT OF THE STORAGE OF ELECTRICITY BETWEEN OFF-PEAK HOURS AND PEAK HOURS, THE AUTHORS CALCULATE THE NUMERICAL VALUES OF THE CRITERIA FOR 7 DIFFERENT PAIRS OF SORBENT-REFRIGERANT.
