Selection of coolants for secondary refrigeration.
De selectie van werkmedia voor indirecte koeling.
Author(s) : PRONK P.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This paper compares several frequently applied coolants for secondary refrigeration systems. For an application of 250 kW, coolants with phase-change, such as ice slurries and CO2 appear to have a better energetic and economic performance than coolants without phase-change or a system with direct expansion.
