Summary

THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE EFFECT OF VARIOUS METHODS FOR MAKING UP LOADING UNITS ON THE TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS DURING THE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE OF FROZEN MEAT IN A MULTISTOREY COLD STORE. THE CALCULATION SHOWED THAT THE MINIMUM COST IS OBTAINED WHEN USING SLINGS AND STORING PACKAGES IN 6 M HIGH ROOMS. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GIVEN IN ORDER TO SECURE MINIMUM COSTS IN OTHER VARIANTS OF PLANT.
