Summary
THE SELECTION OF A STRUCTURE ON EUTECTIC CRYSTALLIZATION OF A THIN FILM IS CONSIDERED. THE SELECTION IS A RESULT OF COMPETITION BETWEEN PROCESSES OF SPLITTING AND TERMINATION OF THE LAMELLAE. THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION FOR AN IRREGULAR STRUCTURE ARE OBTAINED. THE SIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION OF THE LAMELLAE AS DEPENDING ON THE PARAMETERS OF THE GROWTH PROCESS IS FOUND. IT IS SHOWN THAT WITH DEVIATION OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE INITIAL PHASE FROM THE EUTECTIC COMPOSITION THE RANDOM STRUCTURE, CHARACTERIZED BY A HIGH FREQUENCY OF SPLITTING AND TERMINATION ACTS, BEGINS TO GROW.
