Separation technologies of CFCs in insulating foams.
Author(s) : TOMLEIN P., HAVELSKY V.
Summary
The paper deals with the problems of separation and destruction of CFC and HCFC refrigerants contained in insulating foams, which are used in refrigeration boxes and freezers. Description and comparison of different destruction technologies and recycling of such insulating foams to minimize environmentally harmful emission are presented. Separation, destruction and recycling technologies costs are evaluated in terms of Slovakian prices.
