Dégivrage séquentiel pour surgélateurs à bande.
Author(s) : LUCAS J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The adaptation of the sequential-defrosting method, usually used on straight-belt or fluidized-bed freezers, to spiral-belt freezers is described. The evaporator is split into independent coils, which are hot-gas defrosted, one after the other, the sequence being controlled by a programmable controller. Equipment for accelerating reheating in the whole freezer, both for cleaning and maintenance periods is described. J.R.
