Summary

This article proposes an approach to the design, implementation, and full deployment of an activity-forecasting system. These types of systems help to optimise human and material resource planning, among other things. A methodology to integrate, analyse, and forecast economic indicators is put forward. This methodology was successfully applied by an international temperature-controlled transport group.
