Summary

This 2-volume manual is the 5th in an FAO training collection devoted to simple aquaculture. The first volume, "Management: ponds and water" does not cover any refrigerating aspects. The second volume is devoted to fish stock management and a fish farm. Handling, reproduction, feeding, harvesting, sorting, storage and transport of live fish are explained using simple terms. This manual also explains how to treat and prevent common fish diseases, how to use registers and accounting processes and how to evaluate results.
