SIMULATION OF A DRY EVAPORATOR FED BY A LIQUID SENSING EXPANSION VALVE.

Summary

IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF A REFRIGERATOR, A SIMULATION MODEL WAS DEVELOPED FOR AN EVAPORATOR. WITH THIS MODEL, THE PROPERTIES OF AN EVAPORATOR EQUIPPED WITH A THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVE ARE COMPARED WITH AN EVAPORATOR EQUIPPED WITH A LSEV (IMAGINARY EXPANSION VALVE USING AN ALLOWED AMOUNT OF LIQUID IN THE SUPERHEATED STEAM AS A SIGNAL FOR CONTROLLING THE REFRIGERANT FLOW RATE).
