Author(s) : DA RIVA E., DEL COL D., CAVALLINI A., et al.

Summary

Three-dimensional steady-state simulations of condensation of R134a in a horizontal minichannel are presented. The numerical results are compared againts experimental data from Matkovic et al. (2009), as well as to simulations obtained by assuming laminar liquid film flow. The present numerical model is able to capture the influence of mass flux on the condensation heat transfer coefficient as obtained in experimental measurements.
