Summary

This paper deals with a study of a multistage vertical-type absorption heat exchanger with LiBr-H2O solution as the working pair. This new type absorption heat exchanger is the key equipment for the novel district heating system to realize large-temperature-drop of primary water flow and to decrease the temperature of return primary water to recover heat with low temperature in plants. A dynamic model is built using lumped parameter method to simulate and study the liquid level change and pressure change of the exchanger. The result of the simulation provides advices for equipment designing and operating control strategy.
