Summary
A curve of recorded temperatures observed during an in situ test of a solar refrigerator aimed at vaccine preservation (0 to 8 deg C) and the refreezing of ice accumulators (2.4 kg) used for vaccinations in the bush are presented. The test programme was carried out during one year in the tropical climate of Burkina Faso within the scope of a University-Industry contract according to a test protocole approved by the Pasteur-Mérieux Institute and by the WHO.
