Solid sorption as a CFC alternative.
Une alternative aux CFC : la sorption solide.
Author(s) : MEUNIER F.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Solid-sorption systems operating with hermetic cycles are reviewed. They belong to three different families according to the solid used; their fields of application are given. The possibilities and limits of these systems, notably COP and cooling capacity are analyzed. The experimental performance of different systems and different cycles are indicated. Future prospects are detailed. J.L.
