Summary

THE THERMAL BRIDGES EXISTING IN THE CONVENTIONAL WALLS OF CONTAINERS UNDER CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON LEAKAGES. THE AUTHORS MADE, WITH A FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD, AN ANALYSIS OF LIGHT RIGID, INSULATING PANELS AND STIFFENING STRUCTURES. THEY SHOWED THE EFFECT OF EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL CONVECTION COEFFICIENTS. THEY STUDIED THE EFFECT ON THE OVERALL HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT OF AN ASYMMETRICAL GEOMETRY IN THE VALUES OF CONVECTION COEFFICIENTS ON THE TWO SIDES OF THE PANEL.
