Summary

An energy, economic and environmental evaluation was done of this process. It was found to be worthwhile only in those cases where air over 15 deg C is to be cooled or processed. In air conditioning, in particular, this process, has energy and environmental advantages over conventional air treatment in a self-contained unit. The working substances are environmentally safe.
