Summary

THE DEPENDENCE OF CRITICAL CURRENT, ON THE EXTERNAL PERPENDICULAR MAGNETIC FIELD IS STUDIED IN POLYCRYSTALLINE AND SINGLECRYSTALLINE NIOBIUM AND NITRIDE NIOBIUM FILMS 100 NANOMETRE THICK. DIFFERENT CURVES, OF I IN INCREASING AND DECREASING MAGNETIC FIELDS IN THE SAME NIOBIUM FILMS HAVE BEEN OBSERVED. THIS HYSTERESIS DECREASED OR EVEN DISAPPEARED AT INCREASING OF TEMPERATURE, AFTER BOMBARDMENT OF THE SAMPLES BY ARGON IONS. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE EXPLAINED ON THE BASE OF THE MODEL OF DIFFERENT EDGE BARRIERS FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND EDGE.
