Summary

The thermal treatment of shape memory alloy springs used in the manufacture of Thermomarkers is described in detail. Following manufacture and verification of the triggering temperatures, the Thermomarker performance has been evaluated after specific aging periods and results are given. A working test procedure to assess the quality of production is discussed. G.R.S.
