Summary

This study estimates the performance of double effect adsorption refrigeration cycle that utilizes adsorption heat from a high temperature adsorber for the desorption in a low temperature adsorber. The performance was calculated for combinations of the adsorbents of silica-gel, FAM-Z01, FAM-Z02 and FAM-Z05 by static analysis on Dühring diagram. The results showed when FAM-Z05 and FAM-Z02 would be combined, the highest COP would be 1.27.
